Scrollbar Color Scheme Dialog

Cascade DTP V4
You can specify a custom color scheme for the browser scrollbars by clicking Scrollbars (menu bar). The Scrollbar Color Scheme dialog enables you to modify all aspects of the scrollbar appearance, but be aware that this facility only works with Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later - Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera browsers do not support custom scrollbars. A magnified view of the scrollbar structure appears on the left of the dialog. In order to modify a scrollbar element color, first select it by clicking one of the seven option buttons at the center of the dialog. To aid recognition, the relevant section of the magnified scrollbar view will flash red for half a second when a new option is selected, and also whenever a previously selected option is clicked.

As an alternative to devising your own color scheme, you can choose a Preset scheme by clicking one of the seven swatches located near the bottom of the dialog. These schemes can either be used as they are, or modified to suit your requirements. Tip: a striking effect can easily be obtained by changing just the Track color of a Preset scheme to a contrasting hue.

Remember that In order to apply a custom scheme, you must check Activate, near the top of the dialog (note: clicking Preview in Browser will automatically check Activate).
